Silly Sisters Session
This recent family photo session with these two precious little girls and their mom was the highlight of my week! In addition to capturing the love connection and relationships between the sisters as well as their momma, my mission was to capture some silly faces for a new wall art product I am offering in my studio. Our session started out in the studio where I captured some lovely portraits of each of the little girls individually, lots of silly faces shots as well as some beautiful portraits of the sisters together. Both little sweeties were so full of personality and so much fun to photograph! I love that they warmed right up to me and when we rolled into the silly faces shots we were all laughing and having a blast! I am in love with the "Silly Faces" series! It has become my new favorite children's portrait concept as it is such a wonderful way to stop time and capture their unique and adorable personalities that will undoubtedly be treasured by the whole family for a lifetime. Even when it came time to edit these images, I was giggling at all their adorable silly faces and could hardly wait to share them with their mom! Just imagining these framed prints one day hanging on the walls of each of these little girl's homes when they are all grown up one day brings my heart joy!
After we finished in the studio we headed over to the French Broad Church and Seahorns Chapel for some on-location photos. Because we had such a great time in the studio, the girls were eager to allow me to take lots more photos before we called it quits. It was here that I captured some more precious photos of the sisters together, some fun playground play time photos, as well as some portraits with mom. I loved everything about this portrait session! Such a beautiful and precious family and I feel blessed and honored to have had the opportunity to capture these treasured moments in their life.
